R. Sathish is now studying to become an electrician. He is the eldest son of a farm laborer. His 2 younger brothers are studying in 7th and 3rd grade in school. Sathish wants both of his brothers to graduate, but his family’s income will no longer be enough to keep both of his brothers in school. Sathish is working as hard as possible to graduate at the top of his class so that he can earn money to keep his brothers in school. Incredibly, 100% of Padma graduates go on to get jobs that earn $65-$85 a month, more than enough to keep Sathish’s brothers in school. Thank you Steve (4 months), Casey (2 months), Aaron, Kavapreet, Thorsten (1 month) and Neil Patel for your support of Sathish and the Padma Industrial School!

After completing 9th grade, Naveen joined the Padma Industrial School so that he could get a job to support his large family. He has 3 sisters and a brother. His eldest sister is married and works as a counselor. The second eldest is currently getting her degree in nursing. His two younger siblings are both in school. His younger sister is studying in 10th grade and his younger brother is studying in 8th grade. His father, Mr. Selvam, is a farm laborer and his mother, Ms. Selvi, is a home maker. Naveen’s parents’ income is simply not sufficient to support the education of all of their children. Naveen knows that 100% of Padma graduates go on to find sustainable employment, earning as much as $65-$85 a month. Covering Naveen’s tuition fees is the first step in allowing him to support the education of his younger siblings. Thank you Naomi (4 months), Coleman (2 months), Richard (2 months), Calvin, Keith, Amirtham, and Gaurav (1 month) for your kind support of Naveen and the Padma Industrial School!
