R.Rajesh can now focus on his studies!

Dear Thomas, Tom, Seetha, Don, and glen,

R. Rajesh lives with his family in the village of Sengalipuram – six kilometers from Manjakkudi.

His father, Mr. P. Radhakrishnan works as a mason and his mother, Ms. Vimala is a home maker. Rajesh has two older brothers – both of whom are drivers.

Their total family income amounts to a meager sum of Rs.15,000 ($334) per annum which does not suffice to meet the needs of all the family members and also support Rajesh’s tuition for electrical trade.

Thanks to your generous donations, Thomas (x2), Tom (x3), Don, Seetha and Glen (x5), Rajesh’s fees for electrical trade has been taken care of, for an entire!

S.Santharaman lives with his family in the village of Tiruvarur, 20 kilometers from Manjakkudi.

His father, Mr.Chakravathi is a hair dresser and mother, Ms.Savithri is a home maker. He has a brother who works as a data entry operator in a private firm. They survive on an income of Rs. 18000 ($400) per annum. This income is barely enough to meet the needs of the family and support Santharaman’s tuition.

Your generous donation of Santharaman’s tuition covering an entire year of electrical trade, comes as a big relief to his family.

K. Honest Raj Supports His Family Better with a Brighter Future!

K. Honest Raj is pursuing his vocational training in electrical trade at Padma Industrial School.

His father Mr. Kathiyan is a mason and his mother K.Vasuki is a home maker. He has two brothers – one pursuing his Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce, while the other brother is a welder. It’s the income of his father and brother that helps to support the needs of the family. It is barely enough to meet basic needs and does not suffice to pay for the children’s education.

Thanks to your generous donations, James and Julie, Mahendra, Jeffrey, Akiko, David, Anil (x2), Jeffrey, Emily and Drew, Anand and David, Raj’s electrical training fees have been paid. This tuition fee comes as a big relief to Raj and his family as he also incurs other costs in commuting to the Institute. He lives in a place called Thiruvidaivasal and travels a distance of 20 kilometers everyday to get here.

C.Dinesh can’t wait to start working!

C.Dinesh hails from the village of Ukkadai which is 50 kilometers from Manjakkudi.

His father is a farm laborer and his mother Ms.Vijayalakshmi is a home maker. He has a sister studying in the 12th grade and a brother who is a mason. Their total family income is Rs. 18,000 ($400) which does not suffice to meet the needs of the family and also pay for his education.

Dinesh was keen to start working and contributing to the family income at the earliest and hence, joined the automobile trade course run by Padma Vocational Training Institute. With the Institute being 50 kilometers away from his native place, it was not possible for him to commute everyday and so stays at his relative’s house near Manjakkudi.

Your generous donations, Amandeep, George, Meena, Meghan, Peter .A., Janice, Alanna, Entrepreneurship Class 479, Venkat, Peter .L, Raphy and Scott, Dinesh’s vocational training fees have been taken care of for an entire year allowing him to complete the course, which he might have not been able to afford, otherwise.

Arul’s wish is fulfilled!

Dear Dwayne and Terese,

R. Arul Pandiyan is an enthusiastic boy and shows great interest in the electrical field.

His father Rengasami is a farm laborer and his mother Kanagavalli is a home maker. He has two brothers, the older brother helps his father in the farm and the younger is studying in the 11th grade.

Seeing his son’s interest in the Electrical field, his father wanted to get him enrolled in an Electrical Engineering course. Unfortunately, with his meager  family income, he knew he could not afford to give his son the desired education.

On learning about the vocational training course at Padma Industrial School, Arul soon joined the electrical training course. Thanks to your generous donation, John and Aleisha, Arul’s training fees have been taken care of for an entire year allowing him to continue his studies in the trade.

He is an ambitious boy and has plans of starting his own family a business with his brother Mr.Robinson, who is also a a welder by profession.

Rajesh’s father Mr.Ganesan is a farm laborer and Mother Ms.Rani is a home maker. He has a sister studying Hospital Management .

Their family income is Rs. 12000 ($267) per annum which does not suffice to support their studies. This donation will ensure that G.Rajesh gets to continue his studies and complete his course.

Ravi can now support his family

M. Ravi Rahul  is a 22 year old ambitious boy.

He has joined the Automobile trade in Padma Vocational Training Centre to get in to a good job and earn enough to support his family.

His father, Mr. Murugesan, is a mason and mother, Annarasi, is a home maker. He has two brothers, one  studying mechanical engineering and the other in 11th grade.

The family hails  from Ohai, a tiny village near Manjakkudi. As his family income was not sufficient to have two engineering graduates simultaneously, Ravi chose to pursue Vocational Training instead of Engineering.

It is still quite difficult, for the family to pay the fees, of all three children. This tuition will help Ravi continue his course, making him eligible to get employed in a good firm.

Manikandan can help educate his sisters

Dear Mary Lou, Cherry Crest, and Michelle,

Eighteen year old D.Manikandan, joined the welding trade in Padma Vocational Training Centre to get in to a good job to earn well and support his family.

Manikandan’s father passed away and his mother Banu is a farm laborer. He has four sisters, the oldest of whom is married, the second is pursuing her BA degree, the third and fourth are studying in 10th grade.

Mani joined the vocational training course, aiming to earn well enough to support his family and ensure that his sisters get good education.

Owing to their financial condition and the burden on their mother who is the sole bread winner of of the family, he finds it very  difficult to pay the fees.

Thanks to your generous donation of tuition for Ravi, he can now continue his studies.

Ravi is very thankful to you, Cherry Crest Elementary (x3), Mary Lou and Michelle (x8) for supporting him in taking up the responsibilityof his family and meeting their needs.

Parthipan comes from a poor family in rural Tamil Nadu. His father is a farm laborer and his mother a home maker. He has one sister who is married. Though his family is small, they struggle to make ends meet on his father’s meager income of Rs. 10,000 ($225)   per year.

Parthipan always aspired to being more than an unskilled laborer, and enrolled in the Electrical Trade course at the Padma Industrial School.

His older brother is a cable operator, and the combined family income is Rs. 12,000 ($ 275) per month, which is not enough to enable Rajesh to go in for higher studies. Rajesh has enrolled at Padma Industrial School to learn Electrical Trade, so he can assist his brother in his business.
