Papaiyan dreams of becoming an automobile mechanic

V.Papaiyan lives in Pudukkudi, which is about 2 miles away from Manjakkudi where the Padma Vocational Training Center is located. His father, Veerappan, is a laborer, and his mother, Muthulakshmi, is a home-maker. The annual income of the family is approximately $ 270 (Rs. 12,000) which is barely sufficient to make ends meet.

Papaiyan realized that unless he learnt a vocational trade, he and his family would not be able break out of the cycle of poverty. Your donation, Ketan, enabled him to enroll in the Automobile  trade course at Padma Vocational Training Center. He is confident of getting a well-paying job after he graduates.
