Dear Erica, Jigna, Heather, Leo, Rick and Beth, David, Jeffrey, Kandace, Molly, Lowry, Mahendra, and The Butson,
K.Kadiravan is the oldest of three children. His father, Gajendran, is a farm laborer, and his mother, Bavani, is a homemaker. Both his siblings are in high school – his brother is studying in 8th grade and his sister in 10th grade. The family income is not sufficient to enable both of them to pursue their studies.
Kadiravan is currently enrolled at the Padma Vocational Training center, where he is getting training to become a welder. He is a sincere student, and is confident of getting a good job once he graduates.
Thank you, Erica, Jigna, Heather, Leo, Rick & Beth, David, Jeffery, Kandace, Molly, Lowry, Mahendra and the Butson Family, for coming together to ensure that Kadiravan is able to attend the year long welding course. You have not only given him a livelihood, you have changed the course of his brother and sister’s lives too, because Kadiravan is determined to give both of them the higher education that he was not able to afford.
