D.Manikandan grew up in very difficult circumstances. Having lost his father at a very young age, the family struggled to make ends meet. His mother works as a farm laborer, earning little to support the needs and education of her five children. Manikandan has four sisters of which, one is married, while the remaining three are pursuing their education.
With no one else to supplement their family income, Manikandan chose to learn a vocational trade that would help him get employed soon, after completing his basic education. He joined Padma Vocational Training Center and is currently learning welding here.
He was unsure of being able to complete the course as he could not afford the course fees, But, thanks to your generous support, Glen, Manikandan’s vocational training fees have been taken care of.
Manikandan is very happy and thankful to you, for giving him the opportunity to learn a marketable skill. This will surely help him take up the responsibility of his family and support his sisters’ education.
Thank you so much, for this very thoughtful gesture!
