G.Veeramani hails from the village of Tirukkarukavur 30 kilometers (18.6 miles) away from Manjakkudi.
His father Mr. Ganesan is a farmer and his mother Ms.Kaliyammal is a home maker. He has a younger sister studying in the 10th grade. With his father being the sole bread-winner of the family, they were struggling to make ends meet. He had to support the basic needs and pay for the children’s education.
Veeramani wanted to help his father support the family by contributing to the family income. He realized he would have to learn a vocational trade that would help him find a job, easily. He joined the electrical tarde course at Padma Industrial School, knowing that this would equip him with the necessary skills, to get employed.
This would not have been possible, had it not been for your generous donations, Laurent, Ailika and Virendra (x10), that enabled Padma to pay for his course fees.
Thanks to your support, Veeramani can now complete his course and will surely find a job soon after. It won’t be long before Veeramani can shoulder the responsibility of his family and support his sister’s education.
Thank you so much, Laurent, Ailika and Veeramani for coming together to support Veeramani’s vocational course and giving him a source of livelihood!
