Now Kannan can work to support his family!

Kannan, the youngest son in his family, originally joined the Padma Industrial School to increase his family’s income level.  He has 2 older brothers, both of whom work as farm laborers.  He also has an older sister who is married.   Successful completion of the welding course at Padma would allow Kannan to earn as much as $65-$85 a month, a huge increase in money for his family.  Thank you Nicola for your gift of a welding kit and for supporting Kannan’s ambitions!
