Arjunan first joined the electrical trade at Padma Industrial School with the intention of supporting his younger brother. Arjunan comes from a family with limited financial means.  His father, Mr. Subramaniyan, is a farmer coolie (farm laborer) and his mother, Maragatham, is a home maker. He has two sisters and one brother. His family income is not sufficient to support all of them, and Arjunan’s younger brother is not able to continue his studies.  By joining the electrical school at Padma, Arjunan will soon be able to earn enough to support his family and his brother’s education. Thank you very much for providing this electrical toolkit Nancy!  You have allowed Arjunan to support not only himself, but the education of his younger brother!
